Stories tend to surface when we least expect them. Beatrice began writing short fiction for contests in 2023, and her passion for storytelling kept growing. Over the years, it expanded into published work, visual media, a production brand, and a new novel on the way.

“To move past the embarrassment of publishing my work, I had to ask myself, ‘If no one could read this or judge it, what would I actually write?’ Then I told myself, ‘Okay. Now write that.’”

It started with an old GoPro 7 on a trip to Germany’s Black Forest in 2020. The footage was, of course, cheesy, fumbly, and full of awkward angles. Over time, her skills sharpened, and her gear improved, and the adventures on screen became both epic and fun.

Oakley is a Central Asian Village Dog from Siberia. Beatrice adopted her in 2023 after Oakley was moved between multiple homes in a short amount of time. What began with hesitation has turned into a close bond, and she’s now a constant companion who makes every place feel a little more like home.

“I’ve always believed that if you’re nice to animals, they’ll be nice back. It took a while for Oakley to rebuild trust after being moved around so much. The bond we built is a forever love.”
